On Sunday (March 11), Oprah Winfrey will return to her roots when she interviews Bobbi Kristina Brown about the death of her mother, Whitney Houston. Houston was found dead in her Beverly Hills hotel room in February. In the wake of her death, there has been much concern about the 19-year-old’s stability and alleged drug use.
A newly-released 30-second clip (above) gives us a taste of what to expect. Or, well, at least proof that Oprah and Bobbi Kristina were in fact in the same room at the same time.
Oprah, settling back into familiar territory comfortably, also talks to Whitney’s brother Gary Houston and his wife Patricia (billed as Whitney’s best friend). The only thing missing is the live studio audience.
We also have to think Barbara Walters is somewhere fuming about Oprah’s “retirement.”
The interview is set to air on Sunday at 9 p.m. ET on OWN’s “Oprah’s Next Chapter.”
