“Orange Is The New Black” fans, how would you like to lunch with Piper Chapman herself, grab a coffee with Big Boo or chill with Litchfield’s Spanish mami’s?
Well, we have good news. These charitable ladies are putting their on-screen differences aside and joining forces to support the Women’s Prison Association, via offering fans three unique opportunities to meet them in New York City.
The meet-ups are done through an online auction called Charitybuzz.com, which gives fans the opportunity to bid on lunch with Taylor Schilling and “OITNB” author Piper Kerman, shopping with Jessica Pimentel, Laura Gomez and Jackie Cruz, or a coffee date with Lea DeLaria. It’s part of the cast’s effort to raise awareness for the Women’s Prison Association
(WPA). The WPA promotes alternatives to incarceration and helps women
living in the community to avoid arrest or incarceration by making
positive changes in their lives. Fans can bid at http://www.charitybuzz.com/
