CongrAtulations, “Pretty Little Liars” fans — ABC Family has signed on for a fourth season of your favorite show! ABC Family president Michael Riley announced on Thursday that the show will return for 24 episodes set to air beginning in mid-2013.
That means the schedule looks like this — we’ll see a “Pretty Little Liars” Halloween special on Tuesday, Oct. 23 at 8 p.m. as part of ABC Family’s “13 Nights of Halloween” event. Then, the second half of Season 3 will air beginning in January 2013. Now, fans won’t have to wait long after Season 3, because Season 4 is set to debut over the summer.
The Halloween special is titled “This Is a Dark Ride” and features musical guest Adam Lambert at the Rosewood Halloween Party, where he’ll perform “Trespassing” and “Cuckoo” from his latest album. Aria, Emily, Hanna, and Spencer have decided to have some “good old Halloween fun” (you’d think they’d realize by now that’s easier said than done).
“Once aboard the Rosewood Ghost Train, the girls are in for much more than just some childish trick or treats. With ‘A’ running amuck and unexpected party-goers popping up at every turn, this Halloween event becomes one killer party,” says ABC Family.
