The sun never sets on the British Empire and, apparently, the third man in line to the English throne has taken that to heart. Prince Harry, who turned 27 on Thursday (Sept. 15), spent his big day training at the Royal Air Force’s Wattisham airfield.
But, thanks to big brother William, he’ll get a belated celebration. According to The Sun, Wills plans to hold a special shoot in honor of Harry’s birthday. The elder prince has reportedly purchased 250 pheasant, duck and partridge for a day of hunting at their grandmother’s Sandringham estate.
“Harry is an exceptional marksman and both brothers love to shoot,” a source tells The Sun. “William arranged this as something they can share.”
The 27-year-old is also apparently planning a weekend of partying in London to celebrate belatedly..
Later this year, Harry will visit the U.S. — and spend 48 hours in Las Vegas — as part of a helicopter training course.
