St. James Palace announced Tuesday (May 10) that Prince William and his new wife Catherine have taken off on their delayed honeymoon after their April 29 wedding. The couple left England on Monday, May 9, but the destination has been kept under wraps.
A spokesman for Prince William says, “They have left for their honeymoon and the couple have asked for their privacy to be respected.”
British tabloid the Daily Mail reports the royal couple is staying at a 4,000-a-night villa in Seychelles, a chain of islands in the Indian Ocean. We’re sure wherever they are, the newly crowned Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are having a wonderful time.
When they return home, Prince William will be going back to work as a search and rescue helicopter pilot for the Royal Air Force and Kate will most likely continue her philanthropic work.
