As the real-life “William & Kate” plan their wedding (and flip pancakes), Lifetime is also making preparations for the movie chronicling the couple’s romance. The network released the first trailer, where we see shots of Camilla Luddington as Kate, Nico Evers-Swindell as Prince William and plus their college friends and brief shot of (we think) Ben Cross as Prince Charles hunting with Prince William.
People also has the first still shot of the production (below) and a page of dialogue. One of William and Kate’s first exchanges is as follows:
Kate: “Everyone knows who you are. You’re very popular.”
William: “It’s not me they like. It’s the idea
of me they like.”
Kate: “That must be very odd.”
“William & Kate” premieres Monday, April 18 at 9 p.m. ET on Lifetime, just 11 short days before the actual Royal Wedding in London.
We think this movie looks like a lot of fun. What do you think?
