In the age of social media and instant photos, Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, might go a less traditional route with releasing family images of Prince George. While the Royal Family usually poses for a official portrait, William and Kateare reportedly considering releasing some personal snapshots of their family instead.
People reports that Kate and the Middletons have been taking images of the newborn, and they’re considering releasing those instead of a professional portrait. The images would be released on Twitter and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s website.
However, that decision is not set in stone. They still could opt to pose for a professional portrait, in which case a wire service would take photos. Even if Kate and William opt to release their personal images, more formal shots may be taken when George is christened in the fall.
