Emilio Sosa and Seth Aaron Henderson were the last two designers standing, but it’s Henderson who can now add “Project Runway” winner to his resume (and $100,000 to his bank account).
(Congrats to the 73% of you who guessed right in our poll!)
Judges Heidi Klum, Michael Kors, Nina Garcia and Faith Hill loved Henderson’s 1940s German and Soviet military-inspired collection.
“You accomplished your goal of amping up your sophistication and elegance,” Klum told Henderson. “You certainly do know how to put on a show.”
Garcia said Henderson is “fearless” while Kors called the collection “exhilarating and powerful.”
Henderson definitely showed us he’s thrilled to be the “Project Runway” champion. Upon being crowned the winner, he 38-year-old designer jumped up and down in excitement and then brought his kids out on stage, pointing out to them how hard work pays off.
Now it’s off to the big leagues.
“I’m ready to start a large clothing world,” said Henderson. “I’m ready to conquer the fashion world, if you will.”
