Former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Camille Grammer received a restraining order against boyfriend Dimitri Charalambopoulos on Tuesday (Oct. 29) after declaring a terrifying tale of abuse at his hand in court.
In Grammer’s declaration, obtained by TMZ, the reality star claims that on Wednesday (Oct. 16), she was in a Houston hotel room with her boyfriend, recovering from an emergency hysterectomy after her endometrial cancer diagnosis. At 1:30 in the morning, Grammer says a woman began texting Charalambopoulos and wound up calling him and screaming.
The phone call ignited an argument between the couple, wherein Charalambopoulos allegedly grabbed Grammer by her hair, twisted it in his hand and repeatedly pulled her head into the bed’s headboard, pulling out clumps of her hair in the process.
She claims he then “squeezed my nose between his finger and pushed upward forcefully, covering my mouth in an attempt to silence me to prevent me from breathing.” After smashing her iPhone as she tried to call for help, Grammer says he wrestled her on the bed, “repeatedly slamming my head and face into the furniture immobilizing me.” She alleges he told her, “I wanna smash your head in. I’ll give you a reason to call the cops.”
Grammer says the assault, which went on for nearly an hour, left her fearing for her life. She claims that, as Charalambopoulos went to leave, he threatened to knock her out if she moved from the bed.
The judge hearing Grammer’s case on Tuesday issued a temporary restraining order, ordering Charalambopoulos to stay 100 yards away from his girlfriend and her two kids at all times.
