real housewives new jersey teresa giudice bankrupcty auction canceled 'Real Housewives NJ': Sorry, looky loos, Teresa Giudice's bankruptcy auction canceled

Several of our New Jersey readers have told us that they’ll be hitting up “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice’s bankruptcy auction to see, well, Teresa and husband Joe’s stuff.
Well, sorry, looky-loos, Teresa is on to you. The auction, which was already moved from August to Sunday Oct. 3 at Teresa’s Towaco, NJ home has been called off according to the housewife’s own tweet pointing to the report at Popeater.
A source tells the site that the court-ordered auction was less about paying off creditors and more meant to be a public embarrassment for the couple. Meanwhile, Teresa’s lawyer says they’ll be able to make more money in a private sale of the possessions.

]]>Take comfort, “Real Housewives” busybodies, you can still see the items up for sale on the auction house’s website (until Teresa is able to get that pulled down, as well).

Scratch one thing off Teresa’s bankruptcy to-do list. Now, what about her explanation for the reported $250,000 in assets that the court-appointed bankruptcy trustee says the Giudices concealed when they filed for bankruptcy last October?
They’re getting around to it, we’re sure.
