Viewers saw things come to a loud, ugly head on Sunday’s (June 17) “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” between Teresa Giudice, Jacqueline Laurita and Caroline Manzo. They battled over Teresa’s cover story in In Touch magazine that made hurtful accusations about the other women, comments Teresa made in her cookbook about the gals and their kids (still with the cookbook?!), and a whole bunch of other she-said/she-said nonsense.
But the question remains: Did Teresa get paid — and does she continue to get paid — for stories like the In Touch piece?
“No,” she flat-out tells Andy Cohen on Sunday’s “Watch What Happens Live.”
“You didn’t get paid for any of these articles?” Andy asks to be sure.
“No,” Teresa says.
“Teresa and I had talked a few times about how she got paid for these articles, with the exception of People magazine and that she had two more covers coming out in In Touch after her vow renewal cover,” Jacqueline writes on her Bravo blog.
But perhaps in telling Andy that she doesn’t get paid for the articles, Teresa’s skating by on a technicality?
“Here’s the deal though: you’re only ever paid for photographs,” Teresa writes on her own Bravo blog.
But a source tells the Huffington Post that Teresa got paid a cool $6,500 for her public apologies — not just the photos — in In Touch magazine in April.
Do you think Teresa gets paid for her tabloid stories?
