The 66th primetime Emmy Awards is setting aside some time to remember Robin Williams. Billy Crystal, a longtime friend of the former “Crazy Ones” star, will host a memorial segment to Williams during the Monday, Aug. 25 awards show.
This will be the first time Crystal speaks about Williams’ passing. On Aug. 11, he simply tweeted, “No words.”
Williams committed suicide on Aug. 11 at age 63. His wife Susan Schneider later revealed that the beloved comedian was suffering from the early stages of Parkinson’s disease, and that his “sobriety was intact.”
