The cast of “Modern Family” took home some well deserved hardware for the “Best Ensemble Cast in a Comedy Series” at the 2011 Screen Actors Guild awards — and they gave us all an inside look at their evening via Twitter.
Sofia Vergara got up close and personal with her statue, further adding to the laundry list of reasons why we love her. Co-star Eric Stonestreet tweeted, “Never have I wished to be 12 inches tall so much” shortly after their win, accompanied by the above picture.
We’re sure this is the one and only instance that men all over the world will agree with that statement.
Vergara tweeted a picture of her and on-screen hubby, Ed O’Neill, with the caption ” We wooon!!!!!!” As a side note: Just try to read any of the Colombian beauty’s tweets without hearing the accent in your head.
On a related note, check out Vegara alongside Betty White in what she describes as “heaveeen!!!”
It appears as though Stonestreet was a little tardy for the party, if Jesse Tyler Ferguson‘s post is any indication. The lovable red head tweeted at his co-star early in the evening, “@ericstonestreet hurry up and get inside. I’m gonna eat your meat.” So sassy.
To be a bit more specific, “OMG! I just met the sisters from “The Fighter”! I’m dying!” was the exact phrase used.
Pint-size scene stealer Rico Rodriguez got in on the action, writing “Thank you to every SAG member who voted for us. It’s a huge honor! So happy that I get to share this w/ my cast!”
Congratulations to the cast! And if you aren’t already following them on Twitter, you should probably start.
