Despite their plans for a Fourth of July wedding, these two crazy kids elope, only telling Amy’s dad about their plans — somebody has to watch John. Then in a surprisingly touching moment for the series, we get a reminder of the evolution of Ricky and Amy’s relationship with a sweet montage set to Bruno Mars’ “Marry You.”

The happy couple toast their newlywed status with milk — how wholesome — and coconut cake in their upgraded honeymoon suite.

Next week: The elopement news spreads like wildfire through the couple’s crew of gossipy friends and fam.

Are you surprised Amy and Ricky finally tied the knot?
