On the heels of news that The CW may be developing a “Sex and the City” prequel, series star and fashion icon Sarah Jessica Parker reveals that the hit HBO television series will likely spawn a third feature film.
Parker tells Parade that she has spoken to the writers and producers, and there is a story on the table for a “Sex and the City 3.”
“There is. I know what the story is,” she says. “It’s a small story, but I
think it should be told. The question is, what’s the right time to tell
We’re thinking sometime before the women turn eighty.
Perhaps there will be a cameo appearance made by Parker’s son, James Wilkie Broderick, who the actress reveals has plans to be an actor. “I don’t want him to do it until after he goes to college: But part of me thinks maybe it’s better if he knows the truth now about how hard it is to be a working actor,” she says. “I don’t know that he grasps what it took to get us here.”
