The Season 3 premiere of “Sherlock” scored 4 million viewers, PBS says. That’s a 25-percent jump from the 3.2 million viewers for its second-season debut in 2012. The ratings bump follows a record-setting premiere for the series in the U.K. on New Year’s Day.
“Downton Abbey” also saw its ratings rise Sunday night. Airing opposite the NFL’s NFC championship game on FOX, the show drew 8.4 million people, half a million more than the previous week.
