Denise Borino-Quinn, who appeared on HBO’s “The Sopranos,” has died. She was 46.
The actress passed away after a battle with cancer Wednesday (Oct. 27) at the Morristown Memorial Hospital in New Jersey, according to CNN. A funeral Mass was held Saturday.
Borino-Quinn was reportedly a 38-year-old legal secretary and part-time manicurist in New Jersey who was still living with her parents when she went to an open casting call on the day of her grandmother’s wake.
She landed the part of the “Rubenesque” Ginny “Sack” Sacramoni, wife of mob boss Johnny Sacramoni (Vincent Curatola) and appeared throughout the series. Her character’s size was often the subject of jokes.
Borino-Quinn was married to her late husband, Luke Quinn. She has two younger brothers, Vincent and Chris.
