Gwen Stefani became the John Travolta of the 66th Emmy Awards when she awarded Outstanding Variety Series to “The Colbore Report” on Monday (Aug. 25).
Her co-presenter Adam Levine (“The Voice”) quickly corrected Stefani’s mispronunciation but that didn’t stop the team at “The Colbert Report” having a little fun. On the Aug. 26 airing of the show, Colbert’s opening credits were changed to reflect Stefani’s pronunciation, reading “Colbore” where it usually says “Colbert.”
