When “Suits” returns on Thursday, June 14, we’ll finally find out how Jessica Pearson (Gina Torres) takes the news that her star first-year hire, Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams), might not be qualified for the job. Then again, she’s getting the news from a stranger/drug dealer, so who knows if she’ll believe it, and how Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) will react when she confronts him with the info.
Zap2it got an early look at the episode, and you will definitely not be disappointed with how things go down. Here are five more things you can expect from the Season 2 premiere:
1. Mike’s back story
We know Mike was raised by his grandmother after his parents died, but the Season 2 premiere digs a little deeper into Ross’ past and gives more insight into how he became the man he is today.
2. Jenny or Rachel?
The scale definitely tips in one woman’s favor — and it might not be Mike’s decision at all.
3. A major power shift at Pearson Hardman
Mike’s qualifications as a lawyer aren’t even going to be the biggest problem the lawyers tackle this season, that’s for sure. Hint: There are two names atop the firm’s letterhead, and we’ve only met one of them (so far).
Lots of ’em. But will everyone follow through?
“Suits” wouldn’t be “Suits” without its witty rapport and constant movie references, of which there are plenty in “She Knows.” Harvey and Mike remain hilarious even when they’re discussing pretty depressing things. Also, in case you were wondering, Donna remains the best.
“Suits” airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. on USA.
