Why else would the company decide to feature 11 adorable dogs in its big Super Bowl commercial campaign? Other than the fact that it’s got to be scientifically proven somewhere that people pay more attention when puppies or kitties are involved.
Continuing in its tradition of super-cute “Star Wars”-themed ads, it appears that this year, instead of an adorable child-sized Darth Vader trying to use the Force, Volkswagen will enlist some sweet-looking animals to help sell us some cars.
In this just-released teaser for the company’s 2012 game day ad, The Bark Side, 11 dogs bark in what appears at first to be a random rhythm, but later reveals itself to be the famous Imperial March. We even hear a little Wookie in there. Fingers crossed for a mini-Vader appearance in the real ad!
