Misha Collins isn’t wasting his hiatus. The “Supernatural” actor just set a new Guinness World Record.
Collins, the founder of GISHWHES (Greatest International Scavenger Hunt The World Has Ever Seen), used the help of thousands of fans all around the world to create the largest online photo album of hugs, successfully breaking the world record. The final count for online hugs is a total of 108,121 photos as a part of the campaign “GISHWHES Hugs The World 2013!” from last August. Check out the full photo album here.
“It’s great to see so many people step forward and show a little (PG-rated) love on the Internet in what has become a bit of a platform for gloom, doom and gaudy showmanship,” Collins tells Guinness World Records. “I’m always impressed by the artistry and enthusiasm of people that take part in GISHWHES.”
This isn’t the first time Collins broke a world record. He also holds the honor for organizing the largest media scavenger hunt, and he plans on breaking two more records in this year’s GISHWHES Scavenger Hunt.
