The tribes are now complete for “Survivor: South Pacific” with the addition of two returning players: Ozzy Lusth and Benjamin “Coach” Wade.
CBS announced the additions on Wednesday (Aug. 24). Lusth and Wade will join the 16 new players in competing for a million-dollar prize. Lusth is joining the Savaii tribe, while Wade will be a member of Upolu at the start.
Both returning players will be taking their third shot at winning “Survivor.” Lusth came very close to winning his first try at “Survivor,” losing by one vote to Yul Kwon in the Cook Islands season. He also took part in the “Fans vs. Favorites” season and was the 10th person voted out, after forgetting to bring a hidden immunity idol to Tribal Council.
The Coach, one of the more memorable personalities in recent years on “Survivor,” finished fifth in his first season (“Survivor: Tocantins”) and returned for “Heroes vs. Villains,” where he was voted off ninth and became the first member of the jury.
“Survivor: South Pacific” premieres with a 90-minute episode on Wednesday, Sept. 14.
