Taylor Swift is definitely going to have a song to write about this.
Still fresh from her breakup with Conor Kennedy, Swift has made no secret of the fact she’s been spending some quality time with One Direction hottie Harry Styles. That likely doesn’t sit well with the high school-aged Kennedy, who has gone separate ways from Swift since the split.
That doesn’t mean Swift can’t spend time with his family, though. Swift reportedly became close with the Kennedys while she was dating Conor, so it should come as no surprise that she was honored by the Kennedy family with the RFK Center’s Ripple of Hope Award. It “lauds leaders of the international business, entertainment, and activist communities who demonstrate commitment to social change,” the center explains.
Though Conor wasn’t at the recent presentation ceremony in New York, Swift was photographed with Rory and Kerry Kennedy after receiving the award and Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Conor’s dad, was at the gathering as well. Swift reportedly stayed as long as she had to with the Kennedys, but then ditched her ex’s family to go meet up with Styles. JustJared has photos of the couple holding hands as they walked into her hotel later in the evening after Styles wrapped a One Direction concert at Madison Square Garden.
