“Teen Mom 2” will return for a third season Nov. 12, MTV announced today (Oct. 18). The “16 and Pregnant” spinoff featuring Jenelle Evans, Leah Messer Calvert, Kailyn Lowry and Chelsea Houska will air on a new night, Mondays, instead of the franchise’s usual Tuesday spot.
MTV’s “docu-series” is always many months behind the tabloid darlings’ recent headlines, so here’s a rundown of their storylines in the coming season:
Leah divorces baby daddy Corey Simms after only six months marriage, and the couple use mediation to resolve custody of their girls: Alianna, who suffers from a developmental disorder, and Aleeah. The show will later document Leah’s engagement to Jeremy Calvert (the two are now married), pregnancy and miscarriage.
Jenelle’s storyline hasn’t changed much from her previous seasons: drug use, legal problems, on-off relationship with deadbeat boyfriend Kieffer Delp and arguing about her son Jace with mom Barbara, who still has legal custody of the toddler. However, this season she lands a new boyfriend, Josh, and moves in with him (presumably not via breaking and entering someone else’s home).
After Kailyn’s cheating scandal, she continues to waver between baby daddy Jo and Jordan — until she meets Javi, that is. (The two recently became engaged.) Meanwhile, Isaac‘s mom continues to work and go to college, and even tries to reconnect with her half-sister in Texas.
Animal-print-loving Chelsea reunites yet again with daughter Aubree‘s dad, Adam. And once again she lets him move back in to her home without telling her dad and bill-payer, Randy. On the bright side, she finally finishes her GED, enrolls in beauty school and even goes to therapy.
“Teen Mom 2” return Nov. 12 at 10 p.m. on MTV. Will you be watching?
