Thomas wakes up in an elevator with no memory of who he is or where he’s from. The elevator leads him to The Glade, an area surrounded by large concrete walls… and populated by other boys whose memories have been wiped.
“SO excited to join the cast of #MazeRunner,” O’Brien tweeted on Thursday. “Thank you for including me in this insanely awesome project. Can’t wait!!” O’Brien will soon join the rest of the cast, including Kaya Scodelario, Aml Ameen, and Will Poulter, in a special Glades “boot camp” to prep for the rigorous demands of filming the movie.
When news broke, fans were concerned that O’Brien might have to go AWOL from “Teen Wolf” for a while in order to pursue his big-screen dreams. Don’t worry, wolf pack! That’s not the case — our “Teen Wolf” insider tells us that Stiles won’t be missing any episodes. In fact, Jeff Davis and the powers that be over at “Teen Wolf” were so supportive of O’Brien doing “The Maze Runner” that they moved the schedule around and did everything they could to make sure he could take the part. They’ll be taking a short break from filming before they dig in to the second half of the season — just enough time for the new project.
“Teen Wolf” Season 3 debuts June 3 at 10 p.m. EST on MTV.
