Chances of the FOX drama “Terra Nova” being revived on Netflix have gone the way of the dinosaur.
The Hollywood Reporter is saying the streaming service is giving up on breathing life back into the dino-series after the company couldn’t agree to terms with 20th Television, the studio behind the show. Netflix had been talking to the Steven Spielberg-produced series about adding the program to its developing line up of programs that will include shows from Eli Roth, David Fincher and Jenji Kohan.
“Terra Nova” underperformed during its 11-episode run on FOX. While it averaged 7.5 million total viewers, that was hardly enough for the network to give it an additional order. The two-hour finale matched a series low in the 18-49 demo, drawing only a 2.1 rating and 7.2 million overall viewers.
So Zappers, will you miss “Terra Nova” or did you barely even remember it was on?
