It’s that time — the “After the Final Rose” reunion special of “The Bachelor.” So, are Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici still together?
Before he can hardly get a word out, ladies yell, “Take your shirt off!” Um, no. Please don’t. Not that you aren’t a hunky, beefcake stud, but we’ve seen enough.
Anyway, Sean talks about how over the moon he is and how Catherine is the love of his life. It seems really sincere, good for them.
But first, we have to deal with Lindsay. Sean’s excited, but nervous, to see her. When she comes out, she’s very nice and he’s very sincere about how great she is, but he just fell in love with Catherine. They obviously care about each other and it’s all very grown up. It’s kind of a big love fest, it makes Lindsay look so great. Not that she didnt’ look great on the show, but it’s like — contrast this with AshLee, who looked so sweet and lovely on the show and then turned into kind of a lunatic when she got rejected. Lindsay is the complete opposite of that.
It’s also nice when a season is made up of emotionally sincere people and not big weirdos, like Ben Flajnik and Courtney or Emily and Jeffffff.
Interestingly, Sean says he didn’t know for sure until the final one-on-one date. Huh. If we were Catherine, we would hope he would’ve felt that sooner. But OK. Anyway, all things are great with Lindsay, but we don’t think she’s the next Bachelorette.
The lovely couple is reunited on air and it’s adorable as all get out. They talk about the letter — Sean was seriously worried Catherine was dumping him. As were we all. It was actually kind of disappointing, we must say.
The Big News
Before the big news announcement, they watch their proposal, which we would have to imagine would be pretty emotional. But the big news is that — they’re getting married on ABC, as soon as they can coordinate it. That’s awesome, good for them.
What do you think, gang? Are you so happy for Sean and Catherine?
