Big news, “The Bachelor” fans: the long-running ABC series is going to get its first live wedding ceremony. The exciting announcement came not long after Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici held their engagement party, and the happy couple came to “Good Morning America” to talk about what this will mean for their wedding plans.
“It’s our first time so hopefully everything goes smoothly,” Lowe says with a laugh.
It doesn’t seem like the wedding is far in its planning stages, as Giudici wouldn’t give away many details about her color scheme or dress or anything else the “GMA” hosts were trying to pry from her. What she would say is that the ceremony will hopefully reflect her relationship with Lowe.
“I just want it to be fun and show our love,” Giudici says. “Other than that I just want it to be a beautiful wedding.”
“The Bachelor” live wedding will be hosted by Chris Harrison and air on ABC on Jan. 26, 2014. The full guest list and location will be announced at a later date, but past “Bachelor” couples will be featured. The two-hour special will air at 8 p.m. ET.
