Tracy Pollan is a good wife to a now-frequent guest star on “The Good Wife,” and she wouldn’t mind acting on the show herself.
Her husband Michael J. Fox has made his mark on the CBS drama as cunning Louis Canning, recurring courtroom opponent of Alicia Florrick (Julianna Margulies) and her Chicago law firm. And Pollan is ready to answer if “The Good Wife” calls.
“I would love to do that show, but they haven’t come to me,” Pollan tells Zap2it. “There’s a lot that I have been offered and have chosen not to do, because you want to do the ones that are really special to you. I have a couple that I would just love to be a part of at some point, and that’s definitely one of them.”
A February “Good Wife” turn by Fox revealed his on-camera spouse, played by Susan Misner. As much as Pollan would like to do the show, she muses that particular part “would have been a little too obvious. That wouldn’t have been quite as challenging a role.”
Pollan also would be happy to guest on FOX’s “House,” calling it “my favorite drama, actually. I’ve laid down hints [about appearing on it], but they haven’t picked up on them yet. If they offered that, I’d do it … and I don’t do a lot. I just think [Hugh Laurie] is brilliant; I love watching him. He’s one of the most exciting actors on television.”
Not that Pollan can’t be found on TV. She again portrays the real-life Beth Holloway in the new Lifetime
movie sequel “Justice for Natalee Holloway” Monday, May 9.
