After three seasons on AMC, “The Killing” will get one final run on Netflix. Though it’s moved away from its old network, Season 4 will pick up with where the series left off.
Detectives Linden (Mireille Enos) and Holder (Joel Kinnaman) are taking on a new case involving the murder of a picture perfect family, in which only the song survived. As they work to solve the mystery, the two are also forced to face the fallout after their actions at the end of Season 3.
Newcomers to the cast include Joan Allen, Gregg Henry and Tyler Ross. “The Killing” Season 4 premieres Aug. 1 on Netflix.
