AMC has released the most comprehensive teaser yet for its new series “The Killing.”
The new trailer — which stitches together much of the footage AMC revealed during its “Walking Dead” marathon over the weekend, minus the interview bits — lays out the early stages of the Seattle police investigation into the disappearance of a teenage girl named Rosie Larsen (played by Katie Findlay).
Detective Sarah Linden (Mireille Enos, “Big Love”) catches the case and starts to piece together the details of Rosie’s disappearance, which lead to the girl’s parents (Michelle Forbes and Brent Sexton). Rosie’s friends are wondering what happened too, and a city councilman who’s running for mayor (Billy Campbell) finds himself being caught up in the case too.
Veena Sud (“Cold Case”) adapted the Danish series “Forbrydelsen” and is executive producing “The Killing.” It premieres at 9 p.m. ET April 3 on AMC.
