Most years, there’s a definite favorite from the final women. Jillian Harris, Ali Fedotowsky, Ashlee Hebert and Desiree Hartsock were easy choices, as fans were crazy about them. This year, however, it doesn’t seem like there’s a clear frontrunner.
The show has said there is. Sources tell E! News that Andi Dorfman, who just this week on “The Bachelor” left after a disastrous overnight date with Juan Pablo, is the frontrunner. We’re actually not really on board with that choice.
The audience doesn’t know much about Andi because she really hasn’t been featured that much on the show. Which is the same situation they were in with Juan Pablo as the “Bachelor,” and look how that has turned out. What we do know about Andi is that she’s kind of immature — at least, that’s how she came across in her last conversation with Juan Pablo, as she was dumping him but then got upset that he wasn’t upset about it.
Who else is in the mix for “Bachelorette,” then?
Clare Crawley and Nikki Ferrell, obviously. Whichever one of them doesn’t “win” could certainly be the next “Bachelorette,” though that may not be the best idea either. They both seem a little crazy on the show.
Single mom Renee Oteri, who was eliminated the week before Andi, seems like a wonderful woman and would probably be our top choice if it were about who we like as a person the most. But we kind of think she’d be a really boring “Bachelorette.” Sorry, Renee.
If you’re a regular reader here, you know Zap2it loves Sharleen Joynt. She’s the most honest, independent woman we’ve seen on “The Bachelor” in a long time (maybe ever). We think she would make a really interesting “Bachelorette,” but fans don’t seem to love Sharleen, so we doubt the show chooses her.
