Cassidy was pulled over after midnight in the middle of a stop-DWI enforcement detail, according to a Schodack Police Department press release. He was arrested for driving while intoxicated and failing to dim his headlights.
Later, Cassidy was arraigned and remanded to Renssalaer County Jail, where he posted his bail. He is scheduled to return on Sept. 4 to Town Court.
This isn’t Cassidy’s only situation of being arrested for driving while drunk. In 2010, the father of Katie Cassidy was charged with a DUI and driving with an open container. He pled guilty and was suspended for six months with an additional year of probation.
