On the heels of Rob Wilson becoming “The Price Is Right’s” first male model, the CBS daytime staple has decided to hold a national competition for another handsome lad to join the usual bevvy of beauties showing off the fancy cars and exotic trips.
The search will begin Sept 6. in Spartanburg, S.C., followed by open calls in cities, including Los Angeles, Boston and Dallas, to find a male model who can do it all. Hopefuls will be judged on their sense of humor, red carpet skills and, of course, their ability to show off a car, all in the hopes of earning a modeling gig on the show, hosted by Drew Carey.
The search will air as a six-episode web series competition and fans will be able to cast their vote for the winner. At the conclusion of the web series, the final three contestants will be revealed on “The Talk,” with fans being able to vote online for their favorite. The grand prize winner will be announced on Monday, Dec. 8 and begin his week-long modeling gig on Monday, Dec. 15 in Los Angeles.
If you can’t make it to an open casting call, never fear — there are online auditions as well. For audition dates and locations as well as additional contest info, go to Priceisright.com.
