The CW’s No. 1 series. “The Vampire Diaries,” finally landed a spot on the cover of Entertainment Weekly.
Oh, sorry — did we say a spot? We should have said three spots. The magazine, which should hit newsstands on Friday, has satisfied all the ‘shippers’ by providing a cover featuring Paul Wesley and Nina Dobrev, a cover featuring Nina and Ian Somerhalder, and one with all three vamps for those of you who like to get a little crazy.
Not to mention, they’re all half-naked and rolling around in silk sheets, so… there’s that.
In the article (not that you’re thinking about the words at a time like this) executive producers Julie Plec and Kevin Williamson address the long-awaited kiss between Elena and Damon and why they held off for so long. “How can we service this moment between our characters that we really
want, a Damon and Elena kiss, without getting the Stefan-Elena side of
the fandom to give up hope and give up on us?” Plec muses. “And vice versa, when we
