Christina Aguilera took some time off from “The Voice” when she became pregnant earlier this year and now the bundle of joy has arrived. Us Weekly reports that Aguilera and fiance Matt Rutler welcomed a baby girl on Saturday (Aug. 16) in Los Angeles.
This is the first child for Rutler, but the second for Aguilera. She shares a son, Max, 6, with her ex-husband Jordan Bratman.
Despite being pregnant, Xtina has been hard at work in the studio. Less than a week ago, she posted the below Instagram, writing, “Baby girl getting first listen to what mama’s been creating in the studio.”
And after a few months of being a new mama for the second time, Aguilera will return to coach “The Voice” for Season 8 in the spring.
