“American Idol” and FOX pulled ratings on Wednesday that were nearly identical to their numbers a week ago, giving the network an easy win for the night. Elsewhere, an encore of “The Voice’s” premiere pulled in decent numbers for a rerun, “Survivor: Redemption Island” was up slightly and “America’s Next Top Model” improved a bit in a later time period.

FOX drew 18.15 million viewers and a 10.3 rating/16 share in households for the night, nearly doubling the 9.2 million viewers and 5.6/9 for second-place CBS. NBC (5.8 million, 3.7/6) edged ABC (5.2 million, 3.3/5) for third. The CW (1.8 million, 1.1/2) trailed.

FOX dominated the adults 18-49 demographic with a 5.8 rating. CBS was the best of the rest at 2.3, while ABC and NBC tied for third at 1.8. The CW posted a 0.7 in the demo.
