TMZ reports that Foster filed legal documents asking for an emergency custody hearing. Currently Usher has primarily custody of both Usher Raymond V and 4-year-old Naviyd Ely Raymond. Foster argues that Usher is “abdicating his parental responsibilities” by having other people care for their children.
It’s worth noting that Usher wasn’t at home when Usher Raymond V got his arm stuck in a pool drain and nearly drowned on Aug. 6. It was Usher’s aunt who was in charge of watching the 5-year-old. Foster has complained about the way the aunt treats the kids in the past.
If the hearing is granted, it will be determined whether Foster gains primary control over her sons. This is just the latest installment of Foster and Usher’s ongoing custody battle that started when Usher filed for divorce in 2009.
