The story came up when Davis was a guest on “The Champs Podcast” on Thursday (July 11). While the hosts questioned the basketball player’s story, Davis stuck to the tale from beginning to end.
What exactly happened?
In Baron Davis’ own words, the close encounter went something like this:
“I was on my way from Vegas here to LA … I’m a little tired and s***. And I see this light, and I think it’s a big-a** truck. Then next thing you know, dude, like I was in this f***ing steel thing … These f***ing crazy-looking people — half-human, half-f***ing ugly mother-f*****s … Dude, they were poking me on my nose and they were like looking me in my eyes. They had my hands tied up and the next thing you know, I was f***ing in Montebello, dude. Burning rubber on the way back to LA. It was like 4 o’clock in the morning … I just got off at the next exit.”
Davis also claimed to be writing a book about the experience.
Of course, all of this was a joke, as Davis was quick to explain on Twitter in the following days:
“That alien thing is a joke. @nealbrennan please help me. People are outside my house in black suits #jk #meninblack”
“Alien story was a Joke!! Get over it people. Nothing more than that.. #geeeeez”
So was Baron Davis, benched from the New York Knicks following a knee injury, really abducted? Or was it really a joke? Remember, the truth is out there …
