Throughout two seasons of “Girls,” Lena Dunham‘s found herself locking lips with some pretty enviable suitors, but nothing compares to her latest real-life conquest: “Bachelor” Juan Pablo Galavis.
During a visit to “Good Morning America” on Monday (Jan. 6) to promote the upcoming Season 3 of her hit show, the HBO star revealed to George Stephanopoulos that a run-in with Galavis backstage got a bit steamy.
“I got a kiss from the Bachelor,” she admitted, before issuing a warning to the ladies vying for his heart. “I don’t really know how to process what’s just happened to me, but I think the ladies of the house should be nervous because I’m coming.”
Talk quickly moved to her work on “Girls,” and Dunham previewed Season 3 Hannah Horvath (“…in a better place than we’ve ever seen here before … but of course this is ‘Girls’ so things can’t stay good for very long.”), before opening up about how she manages to write about struggle amid all her success.
“I think that there is something about the struggle of finding yourself, the struggle of feeling like you have a place in the world … that’s really universal,” she says, “and whether you’re working in a coffee shop or as lucky as I am to sort of do this job that I love, there are a lot of the same attendant anxieties.”
