Give the early lead for the fall’s best stunt casting to NBC’s new comedy “Welcome to the Family.”
Eva Longoria will guest-star on an episode of the show opposite her former “Desperate Housewives” husband, Ricardo Chavira. Deadline reports she’ll play a teacher who has Miguel’s (Chavira) younger son (Fabrizio Guido) — and has a romantic history with her dad.
“Welcome to the Family” stars Chavira and Mike O’Malley (“Glee”) as the fathers of two teenagers (Joseph Haro and Ella Rae Peck) who announce they’re expecting a child. Justina Machado and Mary McCormack also star.
“Welcome to the Family” is set to premiere Thursday, Oct. 3 on NBC. A date for Longoria’s episode hasn’t been set.
