A good joke is all about timing, and Target was way ahead of its time on this one. Before Whitney Houston’s death, the store had a greeting card on its shelves mocking the singer.
Now, though, Target has decided to pull the offensive card from its stores, according to TMZ.
The card read: “Next time you think of dating the bad boy, consider Whitney Houston. That’s all I’m going to say.”
A Target rep tells TMZ, “The card was in our stores prior to Ms. Houston’s death. As soon as this was brought to our attention, we began the process of removing the card from all applicable stores.”
Was the card really even that funny even before she died, though?
