Why should the Emmy voters get to have all the fun? Weigh in now on who win the Outstanding Supporting Actor and Outstanding Supporting Actress Comedy Emmys in 2010.
The Outstanding Actor category welcomes mostly new faces this year. Only Jon Cryer (“Two and a Half Men”) and Neil Patrick Harris (“How I Met Your Mother”) have been previously nominated. Cryer has five noms and one win, while NPH has four noms and no wins. Chris Colfer of “Glee” and the “Modern Family” gang of Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eric Stonestreet and Ty Burrell are all first-time Emmy nominees.
On the women’s side, Jane Lynch (“Glee”), Julie Bowen and Sofia Vergara (both of “Modern Family”) are all first-timers, though Lynch is also nominated in 2010 for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy. Kristen Wiig (“Saturday Night Live”) and Jane Krakowski (“30 Rock”) are second-time nominees, as they were both nominated in 2009. Veteran actress Holland Taylor (“Two and a Half Men”) is up for her seventh primetime Emmy. She’s been nominated four times for “Men,” twice for “The Practice” (with one win) and once for “The Lot.”
