Actress Jenna Dewan-Tatum stops by “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” Wednesday (Oct. 2), where she tells Ellen DeGeneres that husband Channing Tatum is “so sensitive” as a new dad to baby Everly.

Ellen: Channing, how is he as a Daddy?

Jenna: He’s amazing. It’s funny, he’s so sensitive. He’s like this really strong big guy in life but you give him this little baby and he’s like, ‘Oh my god … Is she going to drop? Am I doing everything ok?’ He’s like the most amazing diaper changer.

Ellen: Really?

Jenna: It’s like the one thing he knows he can do. He’s like, ‘Let me get in there. Let me change those diapers … Here you go.'”

Ellen: I heard he beat boxes to [the baby].

Jenna: Yeah, as new moms know — the baby is crying and you’re like what do I do to make her stop crying and all the sudden he starts beat boxing and [the baby coos]. She starts cooing. I’m like what? I have been rocking her. I have been swaying her. I’ve been doing squats and he gets here and he’s like … I’m not going to do a really bad beat boxing but …

Ellen: But he beat boxes and that makes her calm down.

Jenna: She would just fall asleep in his arms.

Ellen: That’s precious.

Jenna: Still to this day. We beat box what we’re doing during the day.

Ellen: I would like to see video of that.

Dewan-Tatum can next be seen starring on Lifetime’s “Witches of East End” alongside Julia Ormond and Madchen Amick. It premieres Sunday, Oct. 6 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Lifetime.
