If the Texas Rangers thought they were going to clinch the World Series on Wednesday (Oct. 26), the have some sturdy competition…from Mother Nature.
The Fall Classic will be on hold for 24 hours due to a storm that’s expected to bring heavy rain to St. Louis.
The game has been rescheduled for Thursday (Oct. 27) at 8:05 p.m. ET.
Texas currently leads the series 3-2 over the St. Louis Cardinals. If Game 7 becomes necessary, it will take place on Friday (Oct. 28).
