The WWE roster got a little thinner Thursday (June 12) as the company released 10 of its performers, including some who had appeared on “Raw” as recently as Monday.
The most notable name on the list is probably Theodore Long, who has been with the WWE for 16 years as a referee, manager and general manager of “SmackDown!” and prior to that was a fixture in the NWA and WCW. He most recently was a “senior adviser” to “SmackDown!”
The others released Thursday are former Intercontinental Champion Drew McIntyre, former tag champion Evan Bourne, Jinder Mahal, Aksana, Curt Hawkins, Camacho, Brodus Clay, Yoshi Tatsu and referee Mark Harris. “WWE wishes them the best in all their future endeavors,” the company says in a brief statement.
