People of the Internet, how did you get so creative?
Vulture points us to some fan-made opening titles for the upcoming “X-Men: First Class,” and we’re sort of in love. Not only does it appeal to our nostalgic sensibilities, it gives us another excuse to post a picture of star Michael Fassbender.
Patching together Hitchcockian stencil-work, pictures of the cast and iconic images of ’60s events to set up the “Bay of Pigs” storyline, the sequence raises the bar for what we expect to see in theaters.
Vimeo user Joe D!, who created the video had this to say: “This sequence was designed to give a very brief primer on the time period, the setting, as well as show the relationships of the characters in this film, as they are very different from the previous movies and audiences shouldn’t be confused as to why Professor X and Magneto, enemies in the original trilogy, are the best of friend in this prequel.”
