2011 American Music Awards nominees announced

Dust off your keyboards and get ready to vote; the 2011 American Music Awards nominees have been announced.

The show will be broadcast live from the NOKIA Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday, November 20 at 8pm ET/PT on ABC. Katy Perry and Pitbull have already been announced as performers and additional acts will be revealed in the upcoming weeks.

This will be the fifth year that winners will be determined via online voting; fans can cast their ballots at amavote.com. British soul singer Adele leads the tally with 4 nominations, followed by Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Lil Wayne, Rihanna, Taylor Swift and The Band Perry each with 3.
