The editorial team culled our resources -- or just used our imaginations -- to bring you Zap2it's 20 pop culture predictions for the coming year. So without further ado ...

  • Anne Hathaway will win an Oscar for "Les Miserables," and then go back to making terrible movies.

  • Benedict Cumberbatch will oust Channing Tatum as "Sexiest Man Alive."

  • "The Big Bang Theory" will finally win an Emmy for best comedy series, because even the TV academy can't ignore its gravity-defying success.

  • Hunter Hayes will: a) dethrone both One Direction and Justin Bieber, and b) date Selena Gomez and/or Taylor Swift.

  • "Star Trek: Into Darkness" will be the biggest "Trek" ever worldwide.

  • "Game of Thrones" beer will be a big hit on eBay when it sells out immediately.

  • Robert Pattinson will cheat on Kristen Stewart to put their relationship on equal ground.

  • Every living actor will be rumored to be cast in "Star Wars: Episode VII."

  • Eddie Redmayne will be the Next Big Thing.

  • Between "Iron Man 3," "Man of Steel," "The Wolverine," "Thor 2," "Kick-Ass" and "Sin City 2," audiences will overdose on comic book movies.

  • Tim Tebow will receive media coverage that far outweighs anything he does on the football field ... even if he suddenly becomes a top-tier starting quarterback.

  • Adele will release a children's lullaby album.

  • "World War Z" will be a critical and box-office disappointment when audiences become fatigued by dystopias and explosions.

  • Fanboys who lack a filter will tell a movie critic who dares to give "Man of Steel" a negative review to die a horrible death. That critic will probably be female.

  • Selena Gomez will dump the Biebs for good.

  • "Much Ado About Nothing" will exceed all commercial expectations to become the most successful film ever made in someone's backyard during a vacation, thus cementing Joss Whedon as the most awesome filmmaker of our age.

  • Someone in One Direction will date someone else in One Direction.

  • "Community" fans will be upset about the treatment of their show.

  • Katy Perry will date a misogynist. (Too easy?)

  • Lindsay Lohan will go to jail. (Way too easy.)

Alright, now what did we miss? What is your top prediction for 2013?
