People's Choice Awards hires '2 Broke Girls' stars Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs as hosts

peoples-choice-awards-kat-dennings-beth-behrs.jpgPeople, time to warm up your typing fingers: The nominees for the 40th annual People's Choice Awards were announced today, bringing together the likes of perky "Pretty Little Liars" star Lucy Hale and regal "Downton Abbey" star Maggie Smith in the same category.

Major nominees for 2014 include Katy Perry, "Glee," Sandra Bullock, and Melissa McCarthy. The ceremony will be hosted by "2 Broke Girls" stars Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2014 and will air live on CBS at 9 p.m. ET (tape-delayed on the West Coast).
